All species of still water fish of Hungary can be found in ‘Derítő-Lake’. In ‘Által-Creek’, which feeds the pond, you can catch typical river-fish, such as barbel and chub. A national record setting large mouth bass was also caught here.
If we have a look at the lists of record catches, it becomes obvious that carp and catfish are caught most often. But, as we bring in Northern pike and pike –perch year after year, these huge fish of prey can also be caught more and more often. During the hot summers grass carp mean a real challenge for anglers. Certainly, this pond is full of small fish, too, like gibel and bream.
